If this doesn't make you SMILE, I don't know what will...

I thought this would be fun to share, maybe it will get you into the holiday SPIRIT!

Joe and I recently attempted to take holiday pictures of the doodles so we could put them on Christmas cards to send out. We found these hats at Target and thought...how could we go wrong??

I'm pretty sure after this attempt at our doggie pictures, nothing will be more difficult. Joe got the camera, we placed the dogs in front of the tree, I put Harley's hat AND beard on and by the time I got to Cali...Harley would have his ripped off. This caused me to get irritated and I started yelling at all 3 of them...yes, Joe too. (I don't know why, I guess I needed some help??) So, as you will see in most of the pictures, they look depressed, freaked out and NOT feeling the holiday spirit............UNTIL we got the beggin strips out! Thank God for those! Although, it was still really hard, they didn't sit in the right spots and kept moving. Pretty much we gave up and I'm not sure what our Christmas cards will look like....but these are ALL possibilities I guess :)

Harley, OVER the hat and beard...
Confusion, depression??? Not sure
This hat is not working for Cali, she looks like we should be celebrating Hanukkah.
OVER IT!
Pretty sure they were thinking..."just give up the treat already!"
NOT GOOD!
This was when we FIRST pulled the treats out! I was thinking SUCCESS!
Harley, No Cali
I really want the tree in the background...guess Joe didn't think it was important.
Again, no tree and Cali looks worried
Not sitting together, even though I kept moving.
Harley gave up and laid down
This might be a keeper...we will see!

Wedding Pictures...I just had to share these!

I just had to share these wedding pictures with all of you that we took last month! I'm not sure how many people check out our website to see the updated pictures, but these were some I am VERY proud of! Joe and I both shot this wedding, and I don't think we could have asked for a more beautiful bride, groom, wedding party, family and scenery! The couple was married at a park in Orange, the nature backdrop was perfect!

This wedding party was so much FUN! Not only was everyone beyond friendly, but they were pretty much willing to do/try whatever we threw at them. We all had so much fun and you can tell in the pictures that EVERYONE enjoyed it!

We took well over 1000 pictures and I narrowed them to around 800 of our favorites. We couldn't wait to show the couple their pictures, and they LOVED them all! I'm pretty sure we will be working with them again as well as their friends! It is such a great feeling to make people SO HAPPY!

I almost forgot the best part of the night! Right before the ceremony, Joe was helping me with my lens and we were talking about where we would each stand to get the pictures we needed. As Joe bent down to pick up a lens on the ground I heard a very strange tearing sound...YEP, that's right people, Joe ripped the butt out of his black dress pants. I didn't even know what it was at first, until Joe's look of utter fear came over his face, that's when I laughed the hardest laugh ever! The best part was when Joe turned around to ask me if I could tell and his white underwear was peeking out...I simply said "No, not really" Clearly, you could see it, but we didn't have time to think about it. 5 minutes later the bridal party was walking down the aisle and Joe was dead center taking pictures. After the ceremony was over I couldn't find Joe ANYWHERE! I continued to take pictures of everyone without him, until he walked up to me and asked if I could see his underwear now?? I thought "Oh GOD, he took them off" But, no...Joe found a roll of duct tape and taped his crotch back together. It actually looked really good, just a little like he had a wedgie. I am SO PROUD!

I tried to post some of the pictures that are not on our website so you can see some different ones. If you haven't visited our website please do!! www.JosephWilliamPhotography.com

I love the street pictures.

No, these are NOT their dogs! HAHA! A nice man walking by let us borrow them for pictures. We thought they would make for some fun pictures, and they DID! You know us and how much we love dogs...did you expect anything else?!?!
This looks like it should be on the cover of a dog or bride magazine, SOMETHING! Too funny!

I don't think she could have looked more stunning!

Heehee, I love it!
This is for sure one of our all time favorites, it will be hard to top this one!

Yes, we did some normal pictures too...they didn't like them as much though :)

Handsome groomsmen
I sure did like laying on the ground with all these people staring at me while I tried to make them laugh...just imagine it, pretty funny! It consisted of me begging them to not step on my head!
Love it!
Look at those proud parents!

Thanksgiving in Ohio!

As most of you know, we were very blessed to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family in Ohio this year! We were able to spend 10 days....which was not long enough for me, but I'm sure too long for Joe :)

Being able to spend the holidays with family means so much more to me now that I live so far from home. I find that relaxing around the kitchen table and chatting means the world to me. I was able to have lunch with old co-workers, dinner with my life long high school friends, family bonding time with little Kaitlyn...and we also made it to the OSU vs MICHIGAN game and time with Detroit friends! What could be better?! GO BUCKS!

We didn't take many pictures for some reason, but we did get the camera out to take some pictures of our Thanksgiving feast! Everything was wonderful, thanks mom! :)

We love you all and miss you tons! Now get your little butts out here!
Me and Gipper...the cutest little guy ever. My first baby. I miss him, but he is so happy in Ohio.

Dad with Patton and Gip, it was a bit chilly out on Thanksgiving Day!
Me, acting like I'm helping :)
Our 14 lbs turkey, without the Gladieux clan we had no need for the 25 lbs turkey!
I guess it was dad's turn to act like he was helping!!
Brittany and "Baby BOY Gurtzweiler" helped too! :)
Mom cutting the turkey.
Our table, I took the picture of the eggs and olives for you Britt!! It's our favorite!
Kaitlyn playing peek-a-boo with Uncle Joe! She LOVES him!

Skyping with Britt, Ryan, Mason, Ben, Tessa and Stein!

About Me

My photo
Savannah, Georgia, United States
I am a proud Ohio girl who for the past 4 1/2 years has lived in Irvine, California with my husband and 2 goldendoodles. We recently made a move to the East Coast to Savannah, GA. We are in the process of making this feel like "home" All three of them are the loves of my life! Joe and I started our photography business right after we got married in April and have been loving it! We enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and going through their journey with them. Joe and I are excited for a bright future ahead and are enjoying every second of life! We miss our family and friends dearly and hope that by sharing our blog with them makes the distance between us seem a little less vast.
