Our last day in OHIO :( Sniff Sniff, Tear!

It's always so hard to say Goodbye!

When oh when will it get easier??!! It's always difficult saying goodbye to my parents, but saying goodbye to my nieces and nephews is never easy! Our family is growing at such rapid rates that every time we get together we have to add another chair! Our 4 days with my sister and the kids was so short that Joe and I both felt so sad seeing them leave for Italy...our once a year gatherings are just not enough! Our last night was spent at my parent's house just hanging out! Ron and Linda Ruch came to visit and we were able to get a family picture with all of us in it! Let me tell ya, it is really hard trying to get all these kiddos to look in one direction! Great times though and lots of laughs!!

Until next year! Love and miss you all so much!

Being the oldest comes with great responsibility...and Mason loves it!
Several attempts were taken here...Ben has a classic look on his face 99% of the time!

Sweating from chasing lightning bugs and attacking Uncle Joe! Joe and Ben became bestfriends right away! Joe taught him games and played with him non-stop. When Ben was leaving he ran back to Joe one last time and said ,"I'm never going to forget you buddy!" it was so sweet! Two minutes later he called Joe "Justin" bummer...
Tessa, she broke her bracelet after this and Joe said she didn't really care...phew!
Ben being Ben
Britt, I made her retake her Senior Picture 1994...very nice, very nice!
The kids...can I still call us kids?
Monkey business
Brittany, Matthew and Me
Mom and Dad with Ron and Linda...my other set of parents!
This was our best family pic...the others are pretty hilarious!
Mom and Kyle!
So happy!!!!
Tessa was in a bad mood, Mason was trying to make her feel better.

Mason was looking in a snake hole and I told him I had just seen a snake crawl in, he kinda freaked out, but kept on looking!! Brave boy!
This IS Ben
Kaitlyn and Tessa, so sweet!

Visit to Michigan and Ohio, First Stop Kalamazoo, MI July 2010!

Our first stop back home was in Kalamazoo, Michigan to visit with Rob, Rachel, Jaiden and the newest member, Chase!!

We had such a great visit, but it was all too short! When we arrived Jaiden was jumping out of her shoes with excitement! She showed me EVERYTHING and I even played Barbies with her, which reminded me of my sister and our Barbie obsession growing up! Rob grilled us hamburgers in the rain and afterward we ventured to Rachel's parent's farm! I was so excited as was Jaiden to show us around. Jaiden immediately put on her rubber boots "So I don't step in chicken poop in my good shoes" she informed us! We had so much fun and I was secretly jealous of all of the animals and the wide open space which we lack in California. We took several pictures of the kids at the farm and afterward Rob, Rachel and Chase came back to our hotel room where we had some much needed sibling bonding time, it was great! Of course we took lots of pictures of Chase there too...he's just so adorable!

Here are some pictures of our visit!

Aunt Jeni with the family for our departing breakfast Saturday morning, so sad :(
Uncle Joe giving Chase bunny ears!
Mommy and Chase, what an angel face :)
I had a bright idea to get the little guy naked to take some booty shots, Rachel expressed concern about him peeing on our sheets but I didn't care. After we took pictures I thought we lucked out...until we got into bed that is!! Luckily we had extra sheets in the closet !

Rachel, Chase and Rob
Chase is such a happy baby, always smiling!
I LOVE THESE PICTURES!!
Jaiden letting her hair blow in the wind! It was driving her crazy, so I put my barrette in her hair. Yes people, I have childlike thin hair and obviously it comes in handy at times!
This makes me want to be little again...
Dad and his little girl
Farm animals, dirt roads, railroad tracks, poison ivy...I need to get out of Cali because this is what it's all about!

Jaiden driving down the dirt road all by herself! Jaiden insisted that she ride with us to the farm and once we turned onto the dirt road she got out of her car seat and jumped onto Joe's lap! Joe never touched the wheel and she drove AND TURNED into the driveway, it was hilarious! She was concentrating so hard and did a great job...a little swirvy, but good!
Jaiden showing me the baby chicks!
Their horse, Stormy (I think that's the name??)
Jaiden feeding him a snack.
Me and Rachel holding some new kitties! I'm thinking this is where I got the poison ivy!
Jaiden with the Turkey's! This pictures makes me laugh!
PIGS! They came a running!
Jaiden in her chicken poop boots!
Aunt Jeni and Jaiden...I swear she could be my daughter right??!!
Uncle Joe and Jaiden
Chase sporting his Cubs gear!
Finally getting to meet Chase, fantastic!

About Me

My photo
Savannah, Georgia, United States
I am a proud Ohio girl who for the past 4 1/2 years has lived in Irvine, California with my husband and 2 goldendoodles. We recently made a move to the East Coast to Savannah, GA. We are in the process of making this feel like "home" All three of them are the loves of my life! Joe and I started our photography business right after we got married in April and have been loving it! We enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and going through their journey with them. Joe and I are excited for a bright future ahead and are enjoying every second of life! We miss our family and friends dearly and hope that by sharing our blog with them makes the distance between us seem a little less vast.
