Hiking Runyon Canyon in Hollywood, CA...YES, I GOT JOE TO HIKE!

I have tried to get Joe to hike ever since we moved to CA. The hiking trails out here are pretty amazing and I had yet to experience them. This past Sunday, our friends invited us on a hike in Hollywood where we were able to take our dogs and they could be "off leash" the whole time! This is awesome because the dogs rarely get to run free for a long period of time. Joe agreed to join them and off we went!

This hike was awesome, the views of LA and Hollywood were amazing and the dogs had a great time! Joe on the other hand may never go back again.

Here are a few pictures of the wonderful hike we went on....at least I thought it was wonderful :)

This was when the hike started getting harder...steps, oh Lord!
Pretty sure Joe was thinking about how he was going to get back at me with this one!
Verge of death right here!
Jessica, Todd and Addie
This black dog wouldn't leave, so we took a family picture with it too...
Awww So cute!!
Joe and Harley, both a little out of shape.
Dogs EVERYWHERE!

Matt's visit to Cali...OSU ROSE BOWL CHAMPS!!!

My brother got an awesome Christmas present from his brother-in-law this year...one ticket to the Rose Bowl! So, the week of New Years Matt flew out to spend the week with us! I was so excited to have him here, especially around the holiday...just wished Brittany, Kaitlyn and Baby K could have been here too!

While Matt was here we tried to do as much as possible!! We picked up my cousin Andrew, who flew in to shoot the Rose Bowl, and spent the day in Hollywood taking in all the sites. Terri and Monty took us out on the boat to search for whales, we only saw seals but the weather was fantastic! Matt's father and brother-in-law flew in for a quick couple days for the Rose Bowl...which couldn't have ended any better, GO BUCKS! Matt and I decided to do a spur of the moment trip to VEGAS!! We stayed at Planet Hollywood on the 36th floor with an awesome view of the strip. We ate, drank and gambled with some good quality sibling bonding time :) We can't wait til they are ALL able to come visit again.

Joe and I brought in the New Year with some great friends, we had an amazing dinner followed by some major dancing!!! Yeah 2010!
We didn't take many pictures of Matt's visit with our camera, however we took many with Matt's camera! Here are a few pictures I took, mostly with my camera phone :)

Happy 2010!!!!

Some AWESOME Engagement Pictures I just had to share!

These pictures turned out SO AWESOME if I do say so myself! We met with a couple who hired us to do their engagement pictures, but they wanted something DIFFERENT. After speaking with them and getting to know their style, we had just the place to take them. We discussed wardrobe ideas and we left the rest to us, the pictures speak for themselves. This shoot was so much fun to do and we have gotten so many raving reviews on them!

We ended up doing two separate shoots because Grant (the groom) really wanted pictures with his custom Chopper also. So, day one we went out to Riverside, CA to the March Air Force Museum to take pictures with some old planes and day two we took pictures with Grant's chopper...and his favorite girl too of course!

Grant and Kristin are so happy with their pictures, we will be shooting their wedding this year as well!! We can't wait to work with them again, so fun!

Let me know what you all think, they will be on our website in the next few days also. Our website will show many more pictures from this shoot, just too many to add here on the blog :)

About Me

My photo
Savannah, Georgia, United States
I am a proud Ohio girl who for the past 4 1/2 years has lived in Irvine, California with my husband and 2 goldendoodles. We recently made a move to the East Coast to Savannah, GA. We are in the process of making this feel like "home" All three of them are the loves of my life! Joe and I started our photography business right after we got married in April and have been loving it! We enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and going through their journey with them. Joe and I are excited for a bright future ahead and are enjoying every second of life! We miss our family and friends dearly and hope that by sharing our blog with them makes the distance between us seem a little less vast.
