Baptising our little beauties!!

While Jon, Shannon and family are still in the states, they decided it was the perfect time to have the girls baptised. I love that the girls were able to do this together...and also, they were baptised in the church that mommy and daddy got married in!

During a baptism you know what to expect with an infant, but with a 3 year old it's either going to be wonderful and enjoyable or rather trying. Good thing for us, Taylor can be a social butterfly and all the people didn't seem to bother her one bit. She did AMAZING and it brought tears to my eyes to watch her be such a good girl and be blessed by the hand of God. Kayleigh did amazing as well...it really was the perfect day!

Joe and I are so honored to be the God Parents to these two beautiful girls! Here are a few pictures of our magical day <3

Introducing...Kayleigh Grace Jankord~July 19, 2011

Our newest God Daughter, Kayleigh Grace was born to Jon and Shannon Jankord on July 19, 2011!

Kayleigh Grace weighted in at 8lbs 10oz and was 22 in. long! What a big girl already!! The family is doing great and big sis, Taylor is taking it all in!

Jon and Shannon live in Germany and decided to have Kayleigh in South Carolina where Shannon's mom lives. Lucky for us, we are only a 2 1/2 hour drive away! We have been able to spend quality time with all of them, especially Taylor! Taylor came to stay with Aunt Jeni for a few days while mom and dad settled in with their newest member! We spent lots of time in the backyard playing with the doodles, chasing dragonflies and frogs, feeding the geese...she was a big helper for sure!

Of course new babies are truly a gift from God and what I consider the biggest miracle of all, so of course I had to take pictures! Kayleigh is such a good baby and one of the best little snugglers ever. Joe said that if we have a baby he is worried he would never put them down...he seriously would cuddle her for hours. Not to mention, she is so beautiful...

The Gladieux's Visit Savannah :)

Joe and I were super excited to have my sister and her family visit us this year in Savannah, GA! They fly back to the states every year from Italy for a few weeks to visit with family. This year with our recent move we weren't able to make our routine trip back to Ohio for the visit, so we were fortunate that they wanted to head South to see us!

The kids were so much fun, it makes me so sad knowing that we only see them once a year. However, we are hoping to make a trip to Italy in the next year!

Uncle Joe is pretty much the coolest cat in town...and I'm pretty sure he was sore for about a week after they left. It's great to have all of us together again, maybe one day we will all live a driving distance away from each other! We can all dream can't we?! :)
