Schimmel Family Gathering, First Stop in Ohio!

Once we left Michigan we headed to Aunt Shirley's house! We have just started in the last couple years getting my mom's side of the family together when everyone is home. It is so nice to be able to see everyone and catch up. Sadly, we planned it rather last minute so some of my cousins couldn't make it, hopefully next year they can!! This day was by far the hottest day we had in OH, the kids were so sweaty and I thought Joe was actually going to die! But, the food was great and the company was even better! Thanks Aunt Shirley and Uncle Calvin for hosting this year!

Kaitlyn cooling off in the birdbath, I know kinda gross, but look how much fun she's having?!
Who's face is better in this picture?
Britt and Mason...soon after this Mason was hit by a swinging door and ended up with 4 stitches, poor guy! But, he was such a trooper and Aunt Jeni knows how to use photoshop so they aren't in all the pictures :) Love you Mason

About Me

My photo
Savannah, Georgia, United States
I am a proud Ohio girl who for the past 4 1/2 years has lived in Irvine, California with my husband and 2 goldendoodles. We recently made a move to the East Coast to Savannah, GA. We are in the process of making this feel like "home" All three of them are the loves of my life! Joe and I started our photography business right after we got married in April and have been loving it! We enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and going through their journey with them. Joe and I are excited for a bright future ahead and are enjoying every second of life! We miss our family and friends dearly and hope that by sharing our blog with them makes the distance between us seem a little less vast.
