Not too much excitement here...

Hello All!

Hope this fall weather is treating everyone kindly so far! The weather here in California is a little unpredictable to say the least! We had several days of 95-100 degrees and today is cool and rainy. I have to say it is pretty nice to "feel" like we are getting some fall weather, however if I could teach the dogs how to pee faster and wipe their paws off at the door, I would be just a little happier :) When our weather gets a little out of the normal 78 degrees I always think an earthquake is coming...let's hope I'm wrong! Those are something I never seem to get used to.

Joe and I are doing well, we have been pretty busy with our Photography business lately. We recently shot our friend's wedding in Pittsburgh, which was so awesome to see them get married and meet their families! We've done several engagement shoots, boudoir shoots and family/children shoots...things are picking up and going really well!

Here are a few pictures of some of our latest work...

These are Sam and Erin's engagement pictures. Sam and Erin met in first grade, so the engagement shoot had much sentimental meaning to them. They chose to have two sessions, the first at "Yorba Regional Park" in Anaheim, where they used to play when they were little, so sweet. The second location was in Laguna Beach at the "Surf and Sand" where they are getting married and also at an overlook on the water where Sam proposed. We had so much fun with this couple and we look forward to shooting their wedding on March 26, 2011!

The overlook where Sam proposed, at 5am!!!!
Sam is a cyclist, so when these cyclists blew by us we were pretty excited to capture this shot!
We HAD to play a little on the playground equipment...lots of fun!

These are pictures from Jessica and Todd's Pittsburgh Wedding...this was an AMAZING church! Not a photographer's best friend, but pretty cool!
Jessica wanted pictures taken outside the house where she lived when she attended school...this was right outside her house...which surprised me and scared me a bit all at the same time. Brave girl...
Mr. and Mrs. Crane
Chad and Sulem's Engagement Pictures were taken at the "Walt Disney Concert Hall."  This couple wanted something different, fun, sleek and sexy...they left it all up to us, which we love, and we chose a spot that the couple LOVED!

This building gave us SO much to work with, the lighting was amazing and played so well off the metal, mirrored walls, flowers and grass...and a beautiful view of LA...every single picture we took was perfect!

My darling Ella...Yes, she is as sweet as she looks! It has been one year since I took her last pictures and it is so awesome to see how she has changed! This first picture is my favorite because she was running toward me saying, "Neni!" (Jeni) Oh, how I love this little girl...

Ella and her Labradoodle, Lexi
Family pictures are always fun! This particular day was about 90 degrees out in Laguna, but we still had fun and nobody passed out! Joe and I tried out a few new ideas with this group and it had us laughing most of the time...the pictures of the "kids" jumping off the rocks were a hit!
Kryssa and Kyle's parents...BEAUTIFUL!!!
Just some kids having fun...just because the kids aren't little anymore doesn't mean we can't take pictures like this right??
Brother and sister shot...in case you couldn't tell...

We have done so much more, but I just wanted to share some of what we've been up to...besides the fact the Boudoir pictures are a little too riskay for this blog!!

Thanks for reading...
Jen

About Me

My photo
Savannah, Georgia, United States
I am a proud Ohio girl who for the past 4 1/2 years has lived in Irvine, California with my husband and 2 goldendoodles. We recently made a move to the East Coast to Savannah, GA. We are in the process of making this feel like "home" All three of them are the loves of my life! Joe and I started our photography business right after we got married in April and have been loving it! We enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and going through their journey with them. Joe and I are excited for a bright future ahead and are enjoying every second of life! We miss our family and friends dearly and hope that by sharing our blog with them makes the distance between us seem a little less vast.
